This project is a review of Andrea Hirata’s book “Laskar Pelangi” for a second-semester assignment for eighth-grade students. I discuss the inspiring journeys of ten students at Muhammadiyah Belitong Elementary School who fought against poverty to pursue education. Through this review, I analyze the strong bonds of friendship, the power of dreams, and the dedication of Ibu Muslimah. This project aims to improve my descriptive English skills while also sharing the moral value that limitations should not stop us from achieving our goals.
