In this second semester’s Siroh project, I created visual da’wah material about the Battle of Ahzab, which occurred when Muslims were besieged in Medina. The main focus of this project is to depict the severe trials of extreme winter and famine faced by 3,000 Muslim fighters at that time. I highlight the story of the Prophet Muhammad’s diplomacy and the extraordinary example of the Ansar leader, Sa’d ibn Mu’adz, who demonstrated that the nobility of faith is far more valuable than worldly possessions. Through the design package in Canva, I hope the history of the companions’ struggle can serve as a lesson for all of us to always have complete trust (tawakkal) in Allah SWT in any difficult situation.
